Embark on a Transformative Journey: Becoming a Guiding Light in Life's Transitions

Doula & Grief Companion Training & Certification
Individual & Cohort Learning Experiences

Are you drawn to the sacred work of a Death Doula, Grief Doula, or Transition Guide? Thoughtful Transitions invites you to a comprehensive, multi-part learning experience designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to support individuals and communities through life’s most profound transitions. Whether you are seeking personal growth, professional development, or the foundation to start your own practice, our program provides a radically inclusive, community-centered approach to grief and end-of-life care.

Introduction (Level 1)

This foundational training is designed for those new to doula work or those looking to strengthen their existing knowledge in grief support, transition work, and death companionship. We cover the essential aspects of grief and end-of-life care through an equity- and justice-centered lens, ensuring that all aspects of the human experience are honored.

Intermediate (Level 2)

For those ready to expand their work beyond foundational learning, Part 2 focuses on how to integrate doula work into professional spaces, start your own practice, and build accountability and sustainability. Whether you are launching a doula business, incorporating grief work into your existing career, or seeking mentorship and guidance, this next step is designed to help you move from learning to embodied practice.

Advanced

For those who wish to take their practice to the highest level, Part 3 is an advanced, selective program designed for those pursuing certification, in-depth apprenticeship, and professional supervision. This is a mentored and application-based experience, ensuring readiness and accountability in professional practice.
